Rentals for self directed residencies, events or locker space available!

Apply by April 1, 2025 for Self Directed Artist Residency

Please include in your application:

  • Preferred dates, length of residency - week or month long and be sure to include if you would like half or the full studio space.

  • 500 words that describes what your project is - include the materials you will be using, if you require access to research your project (connection to local archives or community) if you have any activities planned in the space and equipment requirements.

  • If you are looking to book a group of creatives - please include what you will be creating and how may people will be in attendance (this is for you scrapbookers and quilters!)

  • up to 10 images of your work OR website or social media link

  • If you require a support letter for grant requests - please allow for a minimum of 2 weeks notice.

STUDIO RENTAL for MAKERS - Studio #1

Are you an artist or creative maker looking for short-or long-term studio rental options? BOOK HERE using the Listen Studios Calendar system

Listen Studios offers a sanctuary to rekindle relationships with nature and your artistic practice. All rates include use of folding tables, chairs, lights and access to basic tools, communal kitchen, washroom and sinks. Rental rates include heat, water and wifi. Affordable options based on number of bookings within a year, are available for the  rental storage costs for artworks and supplies as well as bookings for multiple workshops within a year.

OPTION 1: $150/ month

This rate includes small cupboard OR a portable cupboard to store materials, have access to the space and equipment via calendar booking system.

OPTION 2: $200 / month

This rate includes the above along with art storage in the closet or on the drying racks.

OPTION 3: DAILY / WEEKLY / MONTHLY Rates

These rates are available for self-directed studio residencies - send me a message if you would like to discuss cost options for weekly or monthly rentals.

REDUCED RATES!! Commit to book for one year - take $25 off the monthly rental!

Required Damage deposit will be equal to one month rental. Contact me if you are a low income, marginalized artist for scholarship information!

STUDIO RENTAL for EDUCATORS - Studio #2

Are you looking for space to share your knowledge and skills? Listen Studios offers a space to get messy and experiment in! BOOK HERE using the Listen Studios Calendar system.

This space can accommodate up to 20 people MAX, seated. All rates include use of folding tables, chairs, lights and access to basic tools, communal kitchen, washroom and sinks. Rental rates include heat, water, wifi, and storage costs for artworks to dry.

OPTION 1: $150 for day or evening workshop (24 hours)

OPTION 2: $275 for two day or evening workshop (48 hours)

REDUCED RATES!! Commit to book 6 workshops in a year, take 10% off of all 6 of the rentals!

Required Damage deposit will be equal to rental fee. Contact me for a quote associated with the advertising and booking of your workshop on the LISTEN website and social media handles.
